Managing and Avoiding Implant Complications
This is a one day course developed with expertise and knowledge, designed to address
Implant complications and how to manage and avoid them.
Taught by Dr. Geoffrey A. Berg DMD. Dr. Berg is a private practice General Dentist with extensive training
in Oral Surgery, Implant Dentistry, & Dental Anesthesia. He received his Bachelors degree from BYU
in Provo, UT in 1997. He then attended Oregon Health Sciences University in
Portland, Oregon where he received his DMD in 2001, graduating with Clinical Honors. Dr. Berg has perfected
his skills by placing and restoring thousands of implants and has trained many dentists in the art of
-Understand CBCT related challenges and the implant on dental implant treatment planning.
-Intra-opertative complications & consequences of poor positioning on implant longevity.
-Comprehensive understanding – prevention of posterior manipular / maxillary complications and
etiology, and management of nerve related issues.
-Fixed and removable prosthetic challenges.
-Nerve complications and treatment planning to help avoid both surgical and prosthetic issues
